Implementation & Deployment Services
ICM provides a comprehensive set of implementation
services. These services include:
- System Design - ICM's team of Professional
Services consultants can make recommendations as to
the hardware configuration that best suits your automation
needs. If you do not have infrastructure in place
ICM will help you acquire what is needed. Please note
ICM does not sell hardware - we work with any hardware
platform supported by the Microsoft Windows 2003 operating
system.
- Closed System Design - the
FDA recommends the use of a "Closed System"
for deploying Part 11 compliant solutions. ICM can
help you design this network to meet the FDA guidelines.
- VIZYX implementation - ICM uses
a formal methodology for deploying your solution.
The first phase of the deployment is an intensive
workshop called a JAD Session. In this session your
requirements are defined and documented. The output
of the JAD session are presented formally for review
and any adjustments to ICM's understanding of the
requirements are made. After the JAD process is complete
ICM configures and tests as much of the solution in
our LAB in order to reduce the deployment impact on
our clients. When the solution clears QA, it goes
through a Customer Acceptance Phase, where our Client
reviews the system to ensure it meet the needs described
in the user requirements documentation. Once approved
the on-site deployment begins and VIZYX is implemented,
test and the solution is re-reviewed before going
through the Validation process.
- System Validation - ICM provides
validation services that include the validation of
the operating system; database system and VIZYX. The
Client is provided with full IQ/OQ/PQ documentation.
- System Transformation - Clients
who elect to move off one platform to VIZYX can make
use of the ICM transformation service. This service
provides for the migration of data and documents stored
in a current system to the appropriate module in VIZYX.
- System Integration - for Clients
wanting to integrate VIZYX into other applications
such as SAP; Oracle or others, ICM Integration Services
will help facilitate this integration.
Training Services
ICM provides "Train the Trainer" and end-user
on-site and off-site training. The training is tailored
to match the installed modules and any customization
to your specific solution. In addition ICM has SCORM
based training modules for the VIZYX Electronic Learning
System, where users can train on-line.
Gap Analysis
Gap analysis provides a foundation for how
much effort, in terms of time, money and human resources,
is required to have a particular aim achieved GAP Analysis
can be conducted in different perspectives as follows:
- Organization (e.g. human resources)
- Business direction
- Business processes
- Information technology
In information technology, gap analysis is the study
of the differences between two different information
systems or applications, often for the purpose of determining
how to get from one state to a new state. A gap is sometimes
spoken of as "the space between where we are and
where we want to be." Gap analysis is undertaken
as a means of bridging that space.
ICM provides GAP analysis services, where on-site consultants
will review the desired business operation, behaviors
and practices of personnel, environmental conditions
and monitoring, labeling and storage procedures, and
a number of other areas that are ultimately critical
for patient safety. From this on-site visit, a gap analysis
and action plan is created, comparing current practices
against the requirements and items that need to be addressed
in order to achieve compliance.
