Board of Directors
Ramon J. Dempers
Ramon Dempers, Co-founder and CEO, is the architect
of the VIZYX Compliance Suite technology. Ramon served
as an officer in the SADF. After his military service,
Ramon studied Electrical Engineering prior to joining
Sun Microsystems and later moving to IBM Corporation.
He has over 20 years experience as a software developer,
systems integrator and system analyst and 7 years designing
and implementing system for the life sciences industry.
Since leaving IBM in 1993, he has founded three successful
companies. He formed MidWare Technologies, a middleware
and data integration company that provided integration
tools and services to leading companies such as EDS,
IBM and Old Mutual Insurance. MidWare Technologies merged
with FGH to form the FGH Cape region. Ramon was Managing
Director (Cape). FGH was listed on the Johannesburg
Stock Exchange in 1998. Ramon left FGH to founded NeuraTech
(Pty) Ltd, a software company that developed and sold
a world leading CRM application endorsed by Microsoft.
NeuraTech was bought out by an industry leading software
company.
Douglas G. Burgess
Doug Burgess, CPA, is Co-founder and CFO and has over
25 years of financial and operational experience as
a senior executive and former Partner at Deloitte &
Touché. Doug previously served as interim President
and Chief Financial Officer of Atlantic Coast Fire Protection,
Inc., where he assisted an investment fund with its
acquisition and executed a successful industry consolidation.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle identified the Company
as one of Atlanta's 50 fastest-growing private companies
for the years 1996 through 2000.
James A. O' Neill
A Wall Street veteran of more than 30 years,
Jimmy began his career in a New York trading firm advancing
to the rank of Managing Director. In 1996, at
the request of The Robinson-Humphrey Company, he and
his family moved from New York to the firm's home base
in Atlanta as Director of Capital Markets. His
responsibilities included Equity Trading, Institutional
Research Sales, Soft Dollar Sales and Electronic Trading.
Jimmy also served as a member of the Board of Directors
and the Executive Committee for Robinson-Humphrey.
During his 25 years in New York, Jimmy was President
of the Securities Traders Association of New York representing
more than 2,000 members in the Metro area, served as
Chairman of the Compliance Sub-committee of NASD Market
Surveillance, and was appointed to the SIA Institutional
Brokerage Committee. During a brief retirement
from Wall Street in 2002, Jimmy was asked by West Coast
based Jones Trading to help establish a presence in
Atlanta. He joined the Jones Trading in December
2002 as Senior Vice President. While with Jones,
he represented Institutional Investors in the Southeast
as well as Washington, D.C., and New York.
Jimmy finally retired from Wall Street in 2005.
He is currently involved in personal investments as
well as representing an investment group composed of
former Wall Street colleagues. He is a board member
of two other private companies.
